Marist Youth Group
Columbus has a wide variety of clubs and sports. One of the clubs that really shines, is Marist Youth Group. They have teens from all over Miami showing up at Christopher Columbus High School ready to sit back, chill, and have a nice conversion and reflection with Jesus. Here at Columbus, there a people with different beliefs. In Marist youth group, they accept people with open arms. It doesn’t matter whether you believe in a different religion because you will always feel welcomed. For some people in the club, Marist Youth has helped them find out who they really are and also helped them stay true to themselves.
They meet every Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 every week except national holidays. If you ever feel like you need guidance, they are here to support you through every step of the way. No matter how major or minor your situation is, you will have time to reflect on yourself. Marist Youth Group has helped many people with their problems in the past. Maybe they can be that difference in your life. Marist Youth Group focuses on reflection of the body. They help you get in the right state of mind if you are ever feeling down.
From helping others to service projects, Marist Youth Group does it all. They are proud supporters of the “Warm Ears Warm Hearts” foundation. That organization was created by one of the Marist Youth leaders. In this foundation, you donate whatever winter clothes you don’t need and drop them off at Christopher Columbus High School in a box that is set out in front of the school. A foundation like this can really help people less fortunate than others. The Marist Youth Group is asking “If you have any winter clothes you don”t need please drop them off in a bin at the front of the school either before or after school”.
Finally, Marist Youth Group is definitely a club you should consider. They host retreats and much more. In a few weeks they will be having a meeting at Bird Bowl. That night will be filled with laughs, smiles, and bowling. They will meet promptly at 7 and will be bowling the night away, so don’t miss out. All are welcomed for a night of joy. Marist Youth Group also allows teens from other local high school to come and join the fun.
