End Plastic Pollution
From poisoning and injuring marine life to disrupting human hormones, from littering our beaches and landscapes to clogging our waste streams and landfills, the exponential growth of plastics is now threatening the survival of our planet. Plastic pollution can now be found on every beach in the world. In 1950, the world’s population of 2.5 billion produced 1.5 million tons of plastic. In 2016, a global population of more than 7 billion people produced over 320 million tons of plastic. This is set to double by 2034.
Now you may be asking yourself what you can do to help the world. The answer is simple. Make sure to pick up after yourself. If you say plastic items in the water or on the sand, pick it up. Research, and stay active within your community. Be part of the revolution. Make the world a better place.
Help end place pollution.
